1. Delete EBS Snapshot.
Straight forward: Click on the Snapshot that you want to delete and choose “Actions” –> “Delete snapshot”, that’s all.

2. Delete AMI
Firstly, we need to “Deregister” the AMI, this step only delete the AMI, EBS Snapshots belong this AMI still persist. You need to manual delete all the EBS Snapshots manually.
This is how to check with EBS Snapshots belong to the AMI: Click on the AMI and check the “Storage” Tab
